Finding the right therapist isn’t always an easy endeavor. I hope to bring a judgement free space of trust, vulnerability and mutual respect as we navigate some of life’s most difficult feelings and experiences. I recognize how debilitating intrusive thoughts and living with obsessive doubt can be, feeling like you’re going crazy or may never find relief from your own mind can be isolating and terrifying. My approach is outcome-driven while working through the lens of compassion and curiosity.

I incorporate evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Exposure & Response Prevention along with various tools I have picked up along the way to better learn how to live an abundant life alongside unwanted thoughts and emotions. My intention is to walk alongside clients in their journey while guiding them towards more psychological flexibility, a better understanding of themselves and overall better quality of life.

A little about myself and how I got here: between losing my mom at 21 to a three year battle with cancer and being diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder shortly after, I have immense compassion for those enduring hardship and mental health struggles. I’ve experienced firsthand how debilitating mental health struggles can be and also know how much the proper therapy can bring relief. I feel an obligation to help others with similar experiences because there is immense hope.

In the few months that I’ve worked with Jackie on my therapy journey, she has been nothing less than extraordinary. Honestly, I had no expectations when I first came to her. I was hesitant to speak about my problems, in fear of being seen as vulnerable or being judged. She has helped me get to the root of those fears and trauma. She is very attentive, and truly cares about her clients. Throughout her sessions she has helped me to understand, and form a better thought process that I never knew was possible. She has helped change my life entirely. Jackie is truly remarkable at her profession.
Having someone who has OCD and can relate has been a lifesaver in itself. The patience you have had with my son is nothing short of amazing, especially since you aren't used to working with children that don't want to be there. Your genuine care even outside of his appointments is also a blessing. You may be busy and can't answer the phone but you ALWAYS call or text me back even when it's not an appointment day. You have been a God send to us as we are all trying to navigate this new life we have been dealt and we are forever thankful!
I have seen several therapists in my life, and all were fine but I had no idea what a difference it would make to see one that specializes in my issue which is OCD. It is a night and day difference to be able to specifically target the issue. Jackie is a game-changer for OCD, she gets to the person underneath the monster and helps pull them back up to the surface and gives tools to fight it back, defeat it, and learn to live a better life.
